  Access: From I-10 in Banning, CA, take Highway 243 to Black Mountain Road (4S01) for 6 miles to campground. Trailers are not recommended for this site.  
  Facilities: 34 sites. No campfires allowed.  
  Season: Mid May to mid October  
  Fees: $10/night  
  Nearby Hiking Trails: Black Mountain Trail: 3.5 miles, moderately strenuous. No permit required. Cinco Roses Trail: Runs eastward off Black Mountain trail down to Hwy 243.  
  Nearby 4x4 Trails: Black Mountain Truck Trail: Forest Road 4S01. This is the road used to get from the highway to the campground. Many other dirt roads branch off to alternate campsites.  
  Comments: This is one of several smallish campgrounds on the west flanks of the San Jacinto Mountains.
