  Access: From Riverside, take Interstate 10 East to Hwy 243 South to the park. From San Diego, take Interstate 15 North to 215 North, exit Hwy 74 east to Hwy 243 north to the park  
  Facilities: 33 sites, 24' trailers max, Water, Flush toilets  
  Season: Open all year  
  Fees: $14/night (offseason) $18/night (inseason), 2pm check-in, Campsite assignments are made upon your arrival.  
  Nearby Hiking Trails: More than 275 miles of trails are laced throughout the San Jacinto Mountains. They are varied enough to appeal to the novice, yet sufficiently challenging for the advanced hiker. Many sections of the State Park require a wilderness hiking permit.  
  Nearby 4x4 Trails: Many parts of the park are designated 'wilderness' and allow no motorized vehicles. Several forest service roads wind around the park, and are open (seasonally) for driving.  
  Comments: Mount San Jacinto State Park now offers AT&T Wi-Fi Service! This service enables park visitors with wireless enabled laptop computers or personal digital assistants (PDAs) to access the Internet. Park visitors will be able to gain Wi-Fi access when they use a wireless device within about 150 to 200 feet of the Visitor Center in the park.
