  Facilities: 6 sites, no water.
Season: Open all year, may be inaccessable in winter due to snow.
Fees: No fees. Adventure Pass required.
Nearby Hiking Trails: Thomas Mountain Peak: Short, easy trail begins at Campground. Excellent view at top.
Nearby 4x4 Trails: Thomas Mountain Road: The road continues past Thomas Mountain to Toolbox Springs, and downward eventually ending in the pine measdows of Garner Valley. Many smaller 4x4 trails branch off at various points.
Comments: For a free campground, this place is in good shape. There is a spring just a short hike north, but I'd advise bringing your own water, it does not look to clean. Watch out for cows, the USFS leases this section of forest to the local ranchers for grazing.
