Location: Catalina Island

Access: From Avalon Harbor, take the 'Safari Bus' or Airport Shuttle to Black Jack trailhead. You'll hike in the last mile and a half.

Facilities: 11 sites with picnic tables, fire rings and BBQs. Showers, toilets, water and lockers.

Season: Open all year.

Fees: Reservations REQUIRED! Call 310-510-TENT for current fees, about $12/person/night.

Nearby Hiking Trails: Mt Orizaba (2097 feet) is only a 1.5 mile hike. Cottonwood/BlackJack trail is about 3.5 miles long and takes you to El Rancho Escondido.
