| Access: | East of San Diego, the park is on Highway 79, five miles north of I-8. | |||||
| Facilities: | Family Campsites (up to 8 people) include fire pits or fire rings, picnic tables, showers, a water supply, and a cleared area for your tent. | |||||

| Fees: | $12 to $15 per night (Family Camping) | |||||
| Nearby Hiking Trails: | Cuyamaca Peak Trail which climbs to the 6,512-foot summit with a spectacular view of the Pacific, Colorado Desert, Mexico, and the Salton Sea. | |||||
| Nearby 4x4 Trails: | More than half of the park is classified as "wilderness", meaning all vehicles, even bicycles, are prohibited. | |||||
| Comments: | Completely destroyed in the 2003 wildfires. Some sections have now been repaired and re-opened. New photos will be coming soon. | |||||
