  Access: O'Neill Park is located 25 miles southwest of Santa Ana on County Highway 19 and 11 miles northwest of the San Diego Freeway via El Toro and Live Oak Canyon Roads. 30892 Trabuco Canyon Road, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92678 (949)923-2260.  
  Facilities: RV and Tent camping. Each site has tables, BBQs and firepits. Developed restrooms nearby, RV dump station available.  
  Season: Open year round, weather and fire conditions permitting.  
  Fees: Campsites are first come, first serve. Entry fee $3 weekdays, $5 weekends, $12 to $15 per night.  
  Nearby Hiking Trails: Vista Trail: 2 miles. Moderate to Strenuous. Trail winds upward in a westerly direction through steep terrain characterized by coastal sage scrub, oak woodland and open grassland. The trail terminates at Vista Lookout (elevation 1,492) and the Live Oak Trail.  
  Nearby 4x4 Trails: None within the park, but if you follow Live Oak Canyon road a mile or two further, turn left just before Trabuco creek and head up Trabuco Canyon. This dirt road winds a few miles to the Holy Jim Canyon trailhead.  
  Comments: O'Neill Regional Park is situated in beautiful Trabuco and Live Oak Canyons. The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees. The hillsides surrounding the park are filled with cactus, wild buckwheat, sagebrush and chaparral of scrub oak, buckthorn and mountain mahogany. Trabuco and Hicky Creeks also meander through the park, flowing in winter and early spring, dry in summer and fall.
