Murray Lake

Location: From the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 8 in San Diego, go east approximately 9-½ miles to Lake Murray Boulevard. Go north on Lake Murray Boulevard approximately ½ mile to Kiowa, turn west. Lake Murray Park is approximately 1/4 mile.

Hours: Sunrise to sunset Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from November to Labor Day.

Fees: Adults (16 & over) - $5.00 Senior/Disabled - $2.50, Youth (8-15) - $2.50, Child (7 & under) - Free

Facilities:Boat rentals, picnic area, snack bar with bait and tackle.

Species: Trout, bass.

Stocking: Stocked by DFG late Fall to early Spring

License: Required.

Current conditions: (Updated 4/02/08) DFG Trout plant last week. For the week ending 3/30, 67 anglers caught (and released) 31 bass, along with 51 bluegill, 1 crappie, 17 trout and 1 catfish. Water temp 65°F.
