Pyramid Lake Location: I-5 60 miles north of Los Angeles to Smokey Bear rd. Hours: Open for day-use only — hours vary through the season. During the summer, last boat launch at 4 pm, boats must be on trailer by 6 pm, and gates close at 7 pm. Fees: $10.00 per car, w/ Trailer or boat: $18 Facilities:Boat rentals, picnic areas, store. Species: Trout, Largemouth & smallmouth Bass, Catfish, panfish, striped bass. Stocking: Unknown. License: Required. Website: http://campone.com Comments: Very deep lake, up to 700 feet in some spots. Current conditions:(Updated 2/04/2012) The lake is scheduled for stocking this week by the California Department of Fish and Game, subject to change depending on road, water and weather conditions. More specific dates are not given so that fishing activity will not be focused right after the time of the plant.
