San Gabriel River Location: San Gabriel Canyon road north from Azusa. East Fork enters San Gabriel Reservoir about 10 miles north of Azusa. West Fork is farther up main San Gabriel Canyon, half a mile past Rincon Guard Station. Hours: Open year round. Fees: No Information available. Facilities:None. Species: Trout. Stocking: East fork is stocked from near its mouth upstream 3 miles to Cattle Canyon Guard Station. West fork stocked from mouth upstream to second bridge. North fork stocked for 3 miles above its conjunction with the West Fork. License: Required. Website: N/A Comments: Wild trout in the upper reaches of the west fork are catch and release only.
