Name: Asistencia San Antonio de Pala, an Asistencia to Mission San Luis Rey

Location: East of I-15 on Highway 76 to Pala, CA

Access: Paved roads, 2wd vehicles OK.

Comments: Notable for its bell tower or campanile, the chapel was built by Father Peyri, 1816. Almost destroyed by earthquake and storm, but later restored. Indians are still at Pala.
