Access: Dirt roads, 2wd vehicles OK.

Comments: John Suter, a railroad man searching for water, discovered gold here in 1898. The largest mine (Bahgdad Mine) first sold for over $100,000 and eventually became the largest source of gold in San Bernardino county.
