Comments: Trail begins in the Santa Rosa Mountains 1/2 mile south of Hwy 74 just past Pinyon Flat Campground. Proceeds east and a bit south for 3.5 miles to Cactus Springs. Trail continues another 11 miles down past Aqua Alta Spring, through Rinyon Alta Flats, ending in Martinez Canyon. Nice views of Salton Sea as you traverse this desert badlands area.
