Starts at: 35°09'19"N, 115°47'26"W

Ends at: 35°20'01"N, 115°33'33"W

Elevation Gain: Climbs 2055 ft over the 20 mile length between Kelbaker Road to Cima Road.

Comments: Take I-15 to Baker, exit east on Kelbaker Road. Proceed 19.4 miles, turn north on Aiken Mine Road, proceed parallel to Willow Wash. After 1.6 miles you will pass a corral. Continue northeast 3 miles to a second corral. At this point a foot trail heads north across the lava. Get out and walk a quartermile to the lava tube entrance at 35°12'59", 115°45'08". Here you can climb down into the cool lava caves. Return to your car and head east, curving north around the volcano. After another 5.25 miles, you arrive at another corral. Continue northeast 10.42 miles past several corrals and through the Joshua Tree woodland up onto the north flank of Cima Dome, and end at paved Cima Road at 35°20'01"N, 115°33'33"W.
