The trail winds generally west for 4 miles, then just before the Falcon campgrounds, turns north for a mile and a half to the intersection of the Main Divide, Trabuco Canyon, and Mt Pinos trails. Continue north another 5 and a half miles, enjoying the terrific views of the Pacific to the west, Lake Elsinore to the east, and the San Bernardinos/San Jacintos to the north. You will pass just under Trabuco Peak and the Horsethief Trail trailhead. At 33°42'29", 117°30'05" is a road on your right, Indian Truck Trail, a 7 mile route down the east side of the mountains to the I-15 freeway just south of Corona.
