We proceeded out from LA county at 8 with just 4 people in 3 vehicles. There were some light sprinkles as we headed north, getting a little heavier as we climbed over the pass on the 14 frwy. It cleared rapidly as we arrived in Lancaster and turned west. The weather alternated throughout the rest of the day as sunny, then sprinkles, then sunny, then sprinkles...
